Formula E Update: Fanboost Opens for Monaco E-prix, Video Recap
We’re just past the halfway point of the inaugural Formula-E racing season, and our friends at FIA put together a nice 1:44 video recapping the season to date.
As we approach the upcoming Monaco Eprix, it’s also time to give your favorite Formula E driver an horsepower boost by voting in Fanboost. Here are answers to the most common questions on Fanboost:
What is FanBoost?
Fans can give their favourite driver an extra speed boost by voting for them prior to the race.
The three drivers with the most votes win FanBoost. To vote for your favourite, simply click on the vote icon next to their name. You can change your vote at any time. Only your final vote cast will be counted.
Who gets the FanBoost?
The three drivers with the most votes will each receive one five-second ‘power boost’ per car, temporarily increasing their car’s power from 150kw (202.5bhp) to 180kw (243bhp).
When is FanBoost announced?
The FanBoost recipients are revealed before the race starts on the official Formula E website and social media channels as well as on Television.
