Watch an All-New Jaguar XF Perform an Elevated Stunt Over London’s Canary Wharf
The promotional minds at Jaguar Land Rover are at it again. Last summer they produced a spectacular show on the history of Jaguar to mark the global reveal of the new Jaguar XE. Today, they drove the new XF across London’s Canary Wharf. Which doesn’t sound like much until you understand that the car was elevated to 18 meters. And it drove on two wires a little wider than the average human thumb.
Why is JLR going to these lengths? Publicity, plain and simple. I’m certain they’ll spend millions to promote the newly redesigned XF in print and electronic media. The XF will be revealed at next week’s 2015 New York International Auto Show. But a stunt is always a great way to generate interest that ads can’t buy. Of course it’s always better when everything works flawlessly. Which it did.
Stick around after the crossing to hear Ian Callum, Jaguar’s Director of Design talk about the all new Jaguar XF.
I’d like someone in the video to clearly and concisely say that the diesel version is coming to America….Click here for reuse options!
